"Okay - and I want all of you to write this down - I want to fight Fedor. Alistair Overeem wants to fight Fedor in April 2010. So write that down... I don't care [where]. Maybe in DREAM, maybe in Strikeforce. I don't care. I'd rather in DREAM, but Strikeforce is also okay."

yeah because AO is fighting the top talent, like James Thompson. This guy has no interest in defending his title.

His worthless Strikeforce title? Who cares? He’s doing K-1 right now and wants to fight Fedor next year. Sounds good to me.

Regardless of the general consensus, Overeem’s yet to test positive for steroids, so this kind of comment isn’t acceptable.

Or because of the issues between M1 and Bas Boon going back half a decade? Obviously the fight would never happen in Dream without M1, but I think that’s what he was getting at.

It seems like he lacks any respect for Strikeforce, or their HW Belt. It’s sad. And saying he’d rather fight in Dream than in Strikeforce fuels fire to the “you know what” controversy.

I think it’s mutual – Strikeforce didn’t even have him signed to a contract until mid-2009.

Ya he was implying in a taped interview that he’d rather fight in Dream so he can use steroids, I’m sure that’s what it was.

LOL of course he would rather fight in Japan!
I like the new white net/fence/cage they got. I never liked the ring much for MMA. Anything where you have to stop the fight and reposition it in the center of the ring takes away from the flow of the fight.
