Fitch fight with Almeida out, Hughes in??
http://twitter.com/FitchFighter/status/5061225480
Says a bigger fight, we all know the AKA guys are after hughes and fitch has fought everyone else. Should make for a good one if my powers of baseless assumption are sharp.
Twitter is dumb but god damn if its not informative
Once again, will update if more info follows and no one beats me to the punch. Sorry if this has been posted already or speculated upon.

Forget Hughes, lets get a Alves rematch going.

Agreed
that fight just makes sense at this point.
Screw Alvez/ Paulo anyway, give that guy a break. Paulo Thiago is one guy who the UFC has just absolutely fed to the sharks… and he’s 1-1 against them. Give the dude some time to develop, sheesh.

add in a quote or a screenshot to make it have a better chance to be rec'd or fronted..
or just make it a fan shot.
My fight on Nov. 21st is off, Almedia blew out his knee, but I get a bigger better fight instead. Cant say who yet, but lots of you have been waiting for this fight a long time.

So he’s not fighting Almeida and he’s not fighting on the 21st? Or is he just not fighting Almeida? The wording is confusing.

MMA Mania explains a bit better:
When contacted by MMAmania.com, Fitch was unable to reveal his new opponent, but did say his fight would be shifted to a later date against "A huge opponent."
Now which prelim fight is going to get bumped up?

Ahh, thanks. Has to be Hughes, I mean who else qualifies as a huge opponent?
As for which fight gets bumped, I’m guessing Amir/Baroni, but there are a ton of great prelims to choose from. Cane/Nogueria is a top candidate as well..

Cane/Nogueira is assumed to be on the main card anyway
The fight just hasn’t been confirmed by the UFC yet.

could be a rematch with alves.
he’s “huge” at least size wise. :0

The only question now is: what card will Fitch be shifted to?
UFC 107 already has a finalized lineup, UFC 108 is pretty stacked, and do Fitch and whomever the “huge” opponent is (assuming Hughes) really want to wait until February?
So Joe Silva…how about Fitch vs. Hughes on free TV as the main event of UFN20? ;)

FITCH VS HUGHES
It has to be. I just dont see Alves as a “huge opponent” seeing as he already beat him once. Swick and Kos are at AKA. No way its a rematch against GSP so soon. That leaves Hughes (remember all the AKA-Hughes talk).

Hughes vs Fitch?
Could be a great fight for the fans. Hopefully one retires and another is send packing. Its a win win situation.
