Understand that when people pronounce Favre as "Far –Ve," it is a linguistic phenomenon called "metathesis." Metathesis occurs when two neighboring sounds in a word switch places.

Before I continue, I must let you know I got absolutely nothing to do right now. Let’s resume.

Metathesis is a controversial linguistic phenomenon. Some linguists believe metathesis is primarily the result of speech errors and children’ talk, and is not a regular process. Other linguists believe metathesis can be a regularly occurring process of phonology that affects only a small number of words or forms in a particular language.

If the phenomenon of metathesis is removed from the phonological equation, the name Favre should be pronounced "Fav-Re.

i’d blame favre, if he would have just told people his name was pronounced the same damn way it was spelled, he wouldn’t have ruined phonetics for us all.

Ya this was nauseating, what was the point of that? He’s a promoter he should be promoting his fucking show on the weekend not flexing his cult of personality.

Worst one was where he’s doing one for the WEC and the only footage of the actual event is a shot of the big screen when Jens walks out. The rest is him looking at modeling picture of some bozo friend of his. He didn’t even mention there was a replay of the show on that night, or that it was an amazing fucking show to begin with.
