Gilbert Yvel, a true legend of MMA has been licensed for one fight by the NSAC which declined to license him to fight at PRIDE 33 in Las Vegas.

"Gilbert Yvel, a true legend of MMA..."
C’mon Nate, really? What fights has Yvel won that you think afford him legendary status?

I think knocking out Rizzo, Kongo, and Schilt
in your MMA career gets you pretty close to “legendary” status.
I think knocking out a ref makes you a bit of a legend.

A 2009 Rizzo and a 2004 Kongo? Fucking Carmelo Marrero beat Kongo in ’06.
Randy’s a legend. Nog’s a legend. Yvel is a guy who’s been fighting a long time.

I meant legend in the sense
that he’s got a storied and infamous career. Tank Abbott is also a legend.
