I read that Tim was going to be fighting either Overeem or Hong Man Choi on NYE. For his sake I hope it’s Choi.

Masato's
fight against Souwer or the MAX winner may be 5 to 10 rounds!
This is going to be a hell of a show.

10 rounds is ridiculous for a K-1 fight.

Yeah it’s definitely overkill, but in this case this fight won’t go past the 3rd.

Wasn’t Masato going to fight the GP winner?

Yeah, Tanigawa said they may just skip that and have him fight Souwer regardless.
10 rounds would be craaaazy… but Masato’s legs couldn’t make it into the 3rd last time…

Another fight with Souwer would be more of a nostalgic and memorable way to go out i guess a lot of people think, also would be more of a draw probably considering the history the two have. I personally want to see him battle Petrosyan, who i believe will win MAX. But really both fights would be great.

FEG probably think Petrosyan will win MAX as well, hence this change of the schedule.

Did they confirm Aoki v Crusher? Or is this just them putting a bunch of big names out there to hype the event?
I suspect Musashi’s real last fight will be on this card. Hopefully not against Badr.

Aoki-Kawajiri will almost definitely happen. Aoki may not want to fight, but ’Jiri wants it badly and FEG owes it to him.
