Good for him.

That showed a lot of maturity, and felt more like a sincere apology and explanation than an excuse. I wish him luck.

Oh, and +100 to Shawn Tompkins. Not a lot of people stick with somebody through things like this.

On "TUF’ Mir said something that amounted to “stop apologizing and just start doing”. Junie has always been very good a delivering heartfelt apologies for everything he does, but he needs to stop apologizing and start delivering on the mounting pile of earlier promises

If he was thrown off the show for his first outburst a lot of this could have been avoided.

Do you honestly think that him being thrown off the show would have avoided Junie Browning from being Junie Browning? Trust me, I don’t like the guy but I think that people, if given an opportunity like Junie received can become better people. It’s obvious that he still has his issues but it’s also very clear that he understands that he has issues and is ready to improve himself as a person. A lot of people in this world don’t change and they rot away. Maybe he will change and maybe he won’t. We’ll just have to see.

No, we just wouldn’t have heard about it.

This shirt is "dry clean only", which means it's dirty.

Junie and War Machine are the two perfect examples of why athletic commissions should also require psych evaluations before issuing licenses. Anyone remember War Machine’s weepy rant on TUF?

I really feel for the guy. I can only hope he does exactly what he says he’s going to do. He’s certainly humbled himself. Actions speak louder than words.

It’s admirable that Tompkins is sticking by Junie, but Junie should not be fighting. I’m no doctor or anything, but I just feel that if he were my friend, I’d rather him be seeking help than fighting. Fighting is such a mental game, and I don’t think Junie is ready to handle the stress of it. Like I said, I’m no doctor, but just looking at the him in the video tells me he isn’t ready, UFC or otherwise.

I love me some Sexyama!

Why are we talking about him?

He’s 1-1 in the UFC and 0-1 vs. Sanity. He should have become a laughable afterthought during his tenure on TUF (which should have been short-lived), similar to the guy who quit because his girlfriend of 2 weeks or whatever may have been cheating on him.

Let’s try to forget he exists until he actually does something in, ya know, MMA.
