Weekly Twitter Updates

I know I’m in the minority on this, and I’m reasonably certain that there won’t be any change, but I just wanted to say that I really don’t like this weekly compilation of tweets.

To me, if I wanted to read people’s tweets, I’d be active on twitter. So, from that perspective, these articles are useless for me. However, if I was active on twitter, then I’d probably had added these fighters and MMA personalities to my follow list, in which case I’d have already seen these tweets by the time they are posted here.

I think it would be great if the weekly tweet post would go away forever, but again, I don’t expect that and I understand that I’m in the minority. I just wanted to mention my feelings on this feature. I’ll go back to quietly ignoring it now.

I don’t have a twitter account, nor will I ever get one. Just can’t be bothered to follow people cause 99% of the time I don’t care. However, I do like these posts because I can just read some funny stuff at my work desk and move on.

I’m very active on twitter but don’t feel like following dozens of fighters to read the occasional gem.

Trigg tweets like his life depends on it and Mayhem annoys me, just name a couple.

I’m on Twitter just to follow people, but I don’t always have time to keep up with everything on there. It’s nice having this compilation of just the best of the mma-related tweets and pics.

I usually just don’t bother reading and commenting on stuff on this site (or others) that I don’t actually like.
