How Dangerous Is A Motivated Frank Mir?
Now I don't clam to have all the answers, but when I hear that a fighter can't sleep at night due to the fact he was beaten by a better man in a fight, makes me think that he is more Dangerous. For instance the 'Resurrection Circle thing that Frank Mir did after his accident, now don't get me wrong it's a great story to see a man so broken down and climb up the latter and almost get to the top again. The loss against Marcio Cruz and Brandon Vera sent him even further down the latter. The win against Atoni Hardonk brought himback from the dead, the win against Brock brought his confidence back, and he became more motivated in his next fight to knock out Nogueria and he did, by thinking all about his opponent; thinking how many reps would Nog do, and do one more.
What I see in Frank is Motivation to get back to the top, but within doing that he has to beat a very dangerous Check Kongo, if he loses he'll find him self Sliding fast down a Razor Blade into a big 'ol glass of lemonade and out of the UFC or he'll be the gate keeper of the heavyweight divison. Now I like Frank, his story is a great story; but some of the stuff he says is stupid, i'll I can say is "Keep climbing Frank, you'll get there in due time"
P.S. If he gets released Frank vs Fedor

Cheick Kongo is hot. (couldn't resist again)
When I heard the interview that the DAM Morning Show gave Frank Mir. If Cheick and Frank ever do fight I do not doubt Cheick’s abilities at all and the same goes for Frank Mir! I truly think both of these men are contenders. Frank did not get to where he is without working hard and the same goes for Cheick Kongo. Cheick is truly an extremely good looking man that is willing to train all over the world and be trained by the best. Frank Mir once he is back from healing he trains really hard. The thing about it is he used The Cobra Kai his downtown and his Las Vegas MMA studios. What I have noticed is with Frank Mir he is a family man, MMA Star, Mentor, and Business man all rolled into one that is why I highly respect him. Cheick Kongo is an Fighter, Business man, and Mentor all rolled into one. Both of these men have a warrior’s heart. That is why I will have to say that I will be neutral whoever wins wins. I am not going to take sides because, I am proud to know both and have met both.

He certainly is capable of getting back to the top, but can he overcome the size difference? We saw in Mir vs Lesnar 2 how Lesnar was able to utilize his strength to nullify Mirs BJJ. While Mir did get some nice shots in, it wasn’t enough to deal with Lesnars unnatural strength once it went to the ground.

That gif highlights Mir’s desperation in that fight. If your opponent is working a knee pick, the last thing you should be doing is throwing your other knee straight up in the air.
But what if Miguel Torres does it?

Maybe Torres isn't the best example at this point

I think that’s what happened. Bowens was bowing in reverence and he slipped. Like any sensible person, he tried to catch himself and accidently dropped a punch on Torres who was soaking in the adulation that Frank Mir was giving him and was caught completely off guard.

I will see how he rebounds against Kongo
But he had better look good against Kongo. If you took out the Nog win, no one would even consider Frank a top hw but it happened so you cant take that away from him.
I think Mir’s stand up is very weak and the only fight I think it has looked decent in is against Nog. I think should Mir get passed Kongo he has a tough road if he has to deal with a Carwin, Velazquez, Dos Santos, even Gonzaga.
But I wouldnt mind seeing Couture vs. Mir especially if Couture beats Vera.
So you're saying
Between latter and ladder the one you climb is the latter?

I hope Mir doesn’t even think about standing with Kongo.

I just heard an interview
and Frank said that although he’s happy with his striking progress, he knows that Kongo’s biggest weakness is his ground game, and he’s looking to dominate the action of the fight with his grappling

Mir needs to pick his spots as to when to strike and when to clinch with Kongo, he can’t get sloppy or just shoot in or he’ll get caught by a punch or knee. I think this is a great fight for both guys, it would be Kongo’s biggest win if he is able to ko Mir and Frank would get back in line for a title shot if he was able to to be the first man to stop Kongo in the UFC.

NO ONE caught this?
A motivated Frank Mir sees Cheick Kongo’s face look something like the lovechild of Mizugaki and Bowles.
In the end he wins by Miguel Torres.

How dangerous is a motivated frank mir?
He could rip your arm off I guess…
