Jake Rosholt Getting New Opponent

Jake Rosholt Gets A New Opponent For Fight Night 17
Posted by Adam Tool on 01.08.2009

Alessio Sakara is out, but who's taking his place?

Jake Rosholt was set to make his UFC debut at Fight Night 17 against Alessio Sakara, but now Sakara has pulled out of the bout with an undisclosed injury. Taking Sakara's place will be Dan Miller, who is accepting the fight on one month's notice.

Accepting a fight with little time to prepare seems to be becoming a habit for the Miller brothers. Dan made his debut with a win over Rob Kimmons at Fight Night 15, only to turn around and return once month later at UFC 90 with a win over Matt Horwich. Meanwhile his brother Jim accepted a Fight Night 16 bout with Matt Wiman on only eight days notice.

Rosholt will be making his octagon debut, and the former Oklahoma State wrestler is still undefeated after beating Nissen Osterneck at WEC 36 in November.

Fight Night 17 features a main event of Hermes Franca vs. Joe Lauzon

A) You can’t just copy and paste another article from another site here. You have to quote the article and add your own words. That is if this is a copypasta, which it looks like it is.
B) You have to give a source somewhere in the write up.
C) This this been posted already and it’s on the front page. You should really check before you decide to post news to make sure it hasn’t already been covered.

… the other criticisms you posted here are certainly legitimate. But this FanPost was actually posted about an hour before your own FanPost that was promoted to the front page. Yours is better content-wise and more deserving of being promoted — but I think it was actually you who posted about this after it had already been posted, not the other way around. I always get confused after that awful Alanis Morissette song, but I think there’s some saying about irony that might be appropriate here …

Actually, the time of Discman’s original post was changed. If you look at the first comment, it was made at a little before 8am this morning.

Ahhh…. must be as a result of an edit or something.

Guess it’s irony kicking me in the ‘nads for trying to point out irony in somebody else’s ironing. Or something like that.

Carry on then. Let’s draw and quarter this dnevil fellow, and I’ll take 20 lashes for not paying enough attention myself.

Thanks BJ on the BE. Hey — that’s kind of catchy.

This came from Adam Tool on 411 Mania-MMA Section

One more point of fact, at the time I posted this your article was not fronted or even on fanpost yet.
