I’m more interested in Junior based on his camp than his one knockout.
Day Man seems like he has some extra info on Struve or Dos Santos, though. And I’d like to know what it is because I don’t know a whole lot about either.
Nothing groundbreaking or inside, I have been intrigued by Struve as a prospect (20 years old, 6’8", submission specialist who is 11-1 in the last two years with 11 finishes by submission, albeit against lesser opponents) and like you said Dos Santos is from the Nogueira camp and is no slouch on the ground himself but from the training videos he looks to be a very crisp striker who can make a lot of noise in the division.
I’m mostly interested in getting a look at Struve against a quality fighter like Dos Santos (and how he does standing and exchanging) but being as both of these guys are very young (Dos Santos is 24) its always fun to see two prospects battle especially in a fight with two contrasting styles.
Did Josh Koscheck silently sign the video game rights agreement? I thought his appearance at Fight for the Troops was to be his final UFC appearance. 5 Oz even said he would never sign the agreement.
They should find his oppnent where they found him..staggering out of a pub at 2am.

I suppose I don’t mean to rip on him so badly, but that whole Berry fight soured me since Berry basically KO’d Grove, but couldn’t seal the deal due to a head cold and not being able to breathe, and Broughton basically range punching like a bar brawler and beating Grove.

Don't worry about it...
Grove is not…not…not…um…good. You’re not alone on that.

oh, this is the free spike card, nevermind. I’ll take anything then.

Troy Mandaloniz!
This is a card that only a hardcore fan could love. Lucky for me, I am a hardcore fan.

Well, realistically, I think Paul Kelly will beat him. But regardless of his ability, Troy is a really cool guy and I’ll always support him.

This is a welterweight fest
Do I count 6 welterweight fights on this card? thats alot for one class.
Sanchez/Stevenson is okay for a main event. It’s way better than Bisping/Leben. If Sanchez wins it sets up another possible LW contender and Joe Daddy will have gone 1-3 in his last four fights. If he does win then that messes things up even more. The card is solidly stacked though. I can’t wait to see Maia destroy Sonnen.
I don’t see Stevenson winning this fight. I think Diego is going to come in the fight and the division wrecking shop. I can’t wait to see him rematch Kenny then fight BJ for the title.

While this card is missing the big marquee main event, that drives cards, it is very solid. the main card is very deep and very interesting. There are many compelling fights on the undercard that hopefully will make their way to tv. Overall, I would say this is an excellent card for Spike.
Eliot Marshall: Bader won. Like I said in the episode, I'm not going to make any excuses. It's my job to be able to deal with when somebody's doing that. It's not his job to change up his tactics.

Poor Chael
One great BJJ guy after another. However, i don’t know if you can count Paulo Fihlo and his imaginary friend he had in the ring with him as a great performance last time out.
Whilst some were hoping for "star power" on the card...
… I say it’s with cards like this one that you help shape the stars of the future. From a match-up point of view, there’s not one bad fight on that card (excepting Neil Grove vs. TBA, of course)
Pesronally, the top three fights of the main card are all killer for me and I’m also looking forward to seeing Koscheck in action again. Dos Santos vs. Struve will be interesting and I always enjoy seeing Paul Kelly fight… I just hope that Kongo lays off on the leg kicks to the poor bugger between now and then!

Is Kos going for some sort of "Most Fights in a 6 Month Span" record or something?
Seriously?
I mean if his output is outragous. I would say its largely because he took no damage in that last fight….but he took a tremendous amount of damage in the Alves fight and still turned around and fought a month later.
That alone is turning him into a fan favorite, I would suspect.
