It’s like the guy won some sort of UFC prize contest on a radio show. Free UFC tickets, a meet and greet with Dana White and Randy Couture and a lifetime supply of UFC apparel products. Even if he doesn’t sign with the UFC they are getting their t-shirts worth out of him.

Already don't like the kid
Bargaining is one thing to me, but this blatant infantile attempt to get more money from the Japanese and come back a hero and even reading his name has become tiresome. Right now there’s him and Kurt Angle.
I understand its news and hold nothing against all the sites covering it. I don’t even begrudge a guy trying to increase his value, but it just seems really pathetic.
Especially for a guy who seems to have only mastered one skill which has been shown repeatedly to be a fairly shitty preparation for MMA.

!["I matured a lot after leaving the UFC, I began to see things with different eyes, I changed my game to follow the trend of the MMA world. They pay you to fight and want entertainment, and if you're not entertaining, if you're boring, there's a line behind you waiting to fight. It's a job market. To keep up, you have to struggle to stay exciting... Wanderlei (Silva) [has stayed in the UFC] even while losing three of his five fights, because, even though he is losing, they're the best fights of the night. He puts on a show, and that's what guys want." -- Thales Leites](http://cdn2.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/103198/2_small.jpg)
