B.J. Penn says "GSP will Tap"

So if BJ wins I guess Florian is going to have to wait even longer.

I can almost predict how the commentary will go down after BJ wins, “GSP just wasn’t mentally ready”, “BJ got lucky”, “BJ could never beat Thiago Alves”, “Wait for the rubber match”, blah, blah blah.

It’s so clear what kind of a guy BJ really is in this interview. I completely understand his point of view, and respect it immensely. Who would you rather hang out with in the bar, who would you rather have as your father, who would you rather be, and most importantly, who would you prefer to watch fight? I say BJ Penn — the dude is so fucking cool. But ultimately, he will never be able to hold a belt for long, because of this outlook on life.

BTW — for all you who I’ve heard argue that BJ should just stay at 155 — you heard it from his mouth — he absolutely hates making that cut, he ain’t gonna last long in the LW division.

It sounded like his brother and his trainer was making excuses for his ‘rest periods’

Seriously, I think GSP and a few others were right, BJ was projecting his own fears about himself when he was talking trash about GSP.
