Agreed.

When I saw that it made me smile. I hope this fight makes the PPV.

Gono is such a character. That alone makes me like him as a fighter.

I love Gono – I wish he had a better UFC career because he’s such a character.

If Gono has an impressive showing I don’t think that he’ll be released. He’s 1-1 and that loss was a screw job. But then again, Zuffa hates Japanese fighters for some reason so I guess it’s possible.

How does the UFC hate Japanese fighters? They even gave Gono his win bonus for his last fight even though he didn’t win (I thought he won).

Zuffa doesn't hates Japanese fighters

But I can see an arguement that UFC does, win bonus is nice, but I think he would have rather had the win. Yushin Okami top five in his weight class only UFC stabled fighter to “beat” Dana’s P4P champion and he goes on the undercard. Have “cut” a few Japanese fighters.

I just don’t think Zuffa wants to pay what these fighters are asking for when they can get what they are asking at Japan and not have to fight such dominating fighters at the higher weight classes. Face it Americans are fat!

Zuffa on the other hand includes WEC which has accepted and features many good Japanese fighters. Dana willing to talk publicly with Kid Yamamoto, his Killer Bee stable and Olympic Judoka Satoshi Ishii. I don’t believe Zuffa overly prejudiced although I say their audiences certainly are.
