MMA Live just wouldn’t be complete with Franklin McNeil name dropping like there’s no tomarrow.

And with them actually using the ESPN voice and shaving the time down by 15 minutes, does anyone else things that’s a step in the direction of MMA Live getting on TV?

Fedor dominated?
What’s with this talk of Arlovski “dominating” Fedor and “really taking it to him” for the first 3 minutes.
The shots Arlovski “landed” were all glancing shots. Fedor was fully aware of Arlovski’s power, especially his right hand, as evidenced by Fedor’s “in and out” movement and alot of ducking.
It was a very competitive fight for sure, but by no means a domination.
Furthermore, everyone know Arlovski’s standup would be superior and Fedor’s ground game would be superior to Arlovski’s. What does Fedor do? He beats Arlovski in STAND UP in a very decisive fashion (Knocked him out in MID AIR).
Just putting my 2 cents in. Enough with this talk of “Fedor exposed”, etc. We already know Fedor can be beaten, and can be beaten in stand up (Fujita), but by no means is the “miracle” answer everyone is claiming it to be.

If Arlovski won the first round, then yes, I would say that he was winning. You can’t be winning anything if you get knocked out in under 3 minutes.

Exactly, man why can’t we just enjoy a good competitive fight? Why do these guys over analyze this so much?
This is why MMA is the best sport. There are just so many factors that go into a win. It’s not just “his stand up looked better”, or “his boxing skills were superior”…it’s so much more.
ALSO, they say Fedor couldn’t take Arlovski down. Correct me if I"m wrong, but wasn’t it Arlovski who tried taking Fedor down from the clinch? Fedor did an amazing job of avoiding that takedown using movement of his hips that reminds me of a Sambo/Judo technique.

Correct sir.
Stick with InsideMMA, not MMALive for good MMA coverage outside of the UFC.

You mean if you’re in the mood to watch Bas and Kenny clown around for an hour

I’ll take Kenny over McNeil anyday.
That guy ruins every conversation. Every sentence out of his mouth starts with “I talked to a close source…” or “I spoke to the fighter recently…” Too bad because Florian’s and Bonnar’s analysis are always well done, articulate, etc.

They take Franklin off the show for half of the segments anyway. His value is not in his analysis, he’s the one digging for insider info, which is of varying quality. He broke Wand to 185 for what it’s worth.

I agree completely, although I like the 411 on MMALive and some of their guests.
Too bad I don’t have HDNet and InsideMMA website stopped showing full episodes.

Did I miss the UC 94 preview? There was none in this episode, short of telling us the schedule of all their UFC 94 coverage.
