Watch UFC 93's KO of the Night
In televised card that was dominated by the judges score cards, this little gem is now available on the UFC's website.
via media.ufc.tv
Dennis Siver recieved 'Knockout of the Night' honors via spinning back kick.
If the Lytle vs. Davis fight was not so over-hyped and Mark Coleman's pity party about his finanial situation dictated who got "Fight of th Night", both men may have gone home with fatter wallets.

This was a sweet fight
Siver seemed to put on a kickboxing masterclass for Mohr; he needed the win and, as usual, feeding him a UFC newbie was as good a way to do it as any.

I don’t think Mohr was a newbie.. I think this fight makes him 0-3 in the UFC now no?
Likely either lose of this fight was probably going to be given walking papers as they’ve struggled, Siver less though since he’ll likely be part of the UFC in Germany escapade.
My bad too
I just checked Mohr’s record and I think I had him confused with another fighter… though I concede that he’s no newbie, he did have quite the lay-off between fights since his loss to Gamburyan at ’79; I wonder what caused him to go over 12 months without fighting??

Great Fight
It was back and forth until the beautiful spinning back kick by Siver. The fight was heading for a decision and Mohr had the slight edge with those leg kicks of his until that kick. But the Ref’s stoppage to me was a bit of a question mark because Mohr wasn’t really out of it, he was even trying to recover by holding on to his opponent (who was not landing any strike after he went down) although he was definitely in pain. I don’t know if he tapped or just that the ref saw how it was too painful for him to continue. This fight was way more fitting for a FOTN.
Stoppage was timely and accurate
The stoppage happened right in front of me (hence my not getting a photo of the kick – Mohr blocked my view of it); there was a very audible groan from Mohr as the air left his lungs and what might have sounded like a crack – perhaps a rib or two – and he just fell backwards in a heap against the cage.
Siver pounced on him and Mohr was in no way able to defend himself from any onslaught that Siver would have unleashed, thus the ref stepping in and waving him off. The TKO win for Siver at least justifies the UFC keeping him around for ‘99 in Germany – something I’m sure Siver is pretty chuffed with, along with his $40,000 bonus :)

Prime view.
Wow. Thats a wonderful take on the fight. Those are the things that people miss when watching on TV or at the web. Those sounds didn’t came over well on the video.
