According to Graciemag the UFC has released a Rookie of the Year selection, as well as a top ten list of newcomers (as follows):

1 - Brock Lesnar (2 w, 1l)
2 - Cain Velasquez (2w, 0l)
3 - Amir Sadollah (2w 0l)
4 - Shane Carwin (2w 0l
5 - Júnior Cigano (1w 0l
6 - Effrain Escudero (2w 0l
7 - Brothers Jim and Dan Miller (2w 0l- each)
8 - Tim Boetsch (2w, 1l)
9 - Kevin Burns (2w, 1l)
10 - CB Dollaway (2w, 2l)

I am marginally confused by the inclusion of brothers Miller as a combined selection, seeing as their marketability would be suited to their being individually distinguished. A pretty promising list of newcomers, all told, though not particularly in the order I would have placed them.

Notable snub off of the top of my head: Jon Jones.
