fighters spending to much time together

i wouldnt want any part of being on a plane let alone in the same room with someone i was going to fight and was training for 3 months. how do they do that? i wouldn’t be able to stop myself from throwing hands in the limo or something

They’re professional athletes, not roid-raging savages who hate each other’s guts. Many of them are friends outside of the Octagon…why wouldn’t they be able to ride in a car together?

It's business, not personal

Well, unless it’s Rampage and Wanderlei!

That not withstanding, most fighters see themselves as just doing a job – so why not share a ride with your co-workers… even if you are going to turn their face into mush at the end of the week?

Wait; when it’s put like that, it’s not really that different from some other workplaces, eh?

i understand these guys are professionals, but it was never my experieince that even when cometing agianst people i considered freinds, but before we meet on ye olde feild of battle i dont want anything to do with you, certainly i will not be douching it up playing each other on iphone guitar hero

That will change a bit

The closer it gets to fight night, the more psychological it will become… you begin to turn off the “friend” factor and tap into whatever is your motivation to win. For evidence of this, see Franklin vs. Hamill at UFC 88.

I also don’t want to see 5 mins of White playing Guitar Hero with his friends. That’s minutiae of zero interest factor right there.

Does Marty Cordova have the record for most video blog appearances by anyone but Dana?

What they hell is he doing in England with them?

Everytime I see Franklins new nose, I think of Anderson Silva destroying him and feel bad for the guy…
