Neer vs. Diaz
Just looking for some insight on this fight, seen them both in action and should prove to be a great matchup. Diaz' up and coming attitude and always ready for a fight w/ mostly submission victories for both fighters i think we will see a tapout or actually neither of these guys want to be tapped they might go to sleep. Josh Neer's experiance level is astounding, just looking for more opinions on this fight and others on the card.

Neer will present a stiff challenge
But I can’t pull the trigger on picking him. I really like Diaz’s Jiu Jitsu and he has a good chin. He is untested but I think he has the talent to pull this one out.
In the other two main big fights I’m taking Houston Alexander by decapitation. And I’m going out on a limb to say Mac Danzig by RNC. I don’t ever want to bet against Clay, but I think Mac could make some big waves at lightweight.

I wrote about this a while back…Diaz must show more than just BJJ…if he continues to rely on subbing guys off his back…he will get mauled as he moves up in competition.

Good point Realness, but I suspect that Nick is working on his striking given what transpired in his fight with Pelligrino.
I am with you B-Money on Clay – you can never really count him out. I think the “Carpenter” moniker is fitting for him b/c he has so many tools when it comes to fighting. His fight with Mac should be a back and forth mauling.
