Man, this is hard to take in. I read his blog everyday, it’s like I know him personally. So many people will never know what it is to really live – Evan Tanner lived life to the fullest.

Sad Day
Evan was the most open and honest fighter in the biz. May he rest in peace and be remembered for overcoming challenges and inspiring us to do the same.
My own two shots
I shot these for ESPN in advance of the autograph session at UFC 84; it was the first time I had met Evan and, little did I know, it would be the last time. He was very obliging and took my direction to the letter during the two-minute shoot… I’m sorry to hear that he’s gone.
