I agree with what Diego said; that Thiago hasn’t faced REAL competition yet. Hughes is finished so for me that vicotry wasn’t a big deal.

Diego’s relentless style will be something Thiago hasn’t faced before. I hope Sanchez can pull this one off with a solid performance.

the reason thiago looked a couple weight divisions above hughes was… because he probably was, seeing he didn’t make the cut.

Well he was 3 pounds overweight but looks 30 pounds heavier than Hughes. Thiago Alves is HUGE. I saw him in person and he looks like he walks around at 190 or more.

I’m guessing Thiago. Although Diego’s top game is very freaky, I can see Thiago keeping it on the feet for about half the fight and staying out of serious danger on the ground. Given that his cardio is on-line he could win a decision or score a KO.
