whatever, you know he’ll get smoked by dangerous #1 contender BUTTERBEAN!
crazy finish to that fight though.
Yeah I was impressed by Mo’s striking power and definitely surprised that he would choose to keep it standing with Wiuff.

Santiago
Jorge Santiago is turning into quite a beast lately. Six straight wins, all by TKO or submission, and all over decent competition (Horn, Semenov, Prangley, Sasaki, Salmon, and now Clark)
Before those 6 wins, he did get KOd by Leben and Belcher in consecutive fights but right now, I’d love to see him back in the UFC to add the 185 division.
Gomi and Barnett looking on, happy Lawal isn’t in their respective weight classes.

Err, you’re right, I’m an idiot. He looks like he could go to 205.

I hate it when a fighter celebrates a victory even though he won by a freak injury TKO – Siyar Bahadurzada didn’t really beat Cyborg, the match had barely started, yet he goes around acting like he just dominated. The worst was Falaniko Vitale, who cheered after Lindland knocked himself out. (Goes off to be grumpy: Hey kids, get off my lawn!)

Ya, that was the most stupid celebration I’ve ever seen, jumping on ring corners and everything. Lame shit.
I don’t really care what they do, so long as they did something to warrant it. Wandy jumping on the corner after KOing Rampage through the ropes = cool. Bahadurzada jumping on the corner because Cyborg fell on his arm and broke it = lame.

King Mo throws some wild punches. It looks to me like he goes in swinging huge looping punches, leaving his chin exposed. Can someone with more knowledge of MMA/boxing technique comment on his style?
MMA Sportsbetting Record: 16-13-1, -0.24u
Biggest Win: Marquardt vs. Kampmann, bet 5u on Marquardt @ -125. Won 4u.
Biggest Loss: Liddell vs. Evans, bet 9u on Liddell @ -260. Lost 9u.
I’ll leave the technique stuff to someone else, but this is Lawal’s first fight so I think it’s to be expected that his striking style might not be fully formed. He comes from a pure wrestling background and trains with a camp known for its wrestling; the fact that he was able to stand with and knock out a fighter like Wiuff (who has big power, a decent chin and like 500 fights) says a lot for his power and potential.
