This puzzles me. I wouldn’t think they’d want Stann to lose in his UFC debut in front of the troops, and Cantwell should beat him again unless Stann was secretly ill or injured in his last fight.

I like the fight, but Cantwell had to earn his rematch via a few more fights. He also looked great v. Stann in there last match and he didn’t look bad in the loss. I can’t think of picking Stann at the rate Cantwell in improving.

My guess is they expect Stann to get victory in front of the troops. If I was Stann, I prob wouldn’t want to fight Stann in that environment. Talk about a home field advantage…

Stann looked pretty lost in the last fight these two had and he hasn’t had much time since then to improve. I really can’t see this going any differently, although I’m sure Zuffa is hoping it does.
