Will the UFC All Access Curse Affect Anderson Silva?
I guess we'll find out at UFC 90 because here comes Silva's very own "All Access" special:
"UFC All Access" returns in October to profile Anderson Silva in Brazil for his Oct. 25 fight against Patrick Cote at UFC 90 in Chicago.
The 30-minute episode will begin taping shortly, according to host Rachelle Leah, who posted on her blog today that she is heading to Brazil for the shoot.
"UFC All Access" is slated to premiere on Spike TV on Oct. 22 at midnight, with repeats on Oct. 25 at 2:00pm and 5:30pm ET. The show will be accompanied by "Countdown to UFC 90: Silva vs. Cote," which premieres on Oct. 23 at 11pm ET.

As much as I like Cote I think the curse happening to Silva would be the upset of the century, even more than GSP vs Serra IMO.

I think who ever Silva fights next has a better then normal shot. That just happends to be Cote. Silva jumping up in weight and jumping down can do strange things to fighters, but he walks around so big anyway it shouldn’t be a problem. But I am saying, now, if ever, Cote has the best chance he is going to get. Silva broke his pattern. I think he coached TUF and opened a gym in the US. I don’t know if Cote can do it, but I hope so. I like when divition rankings get turned on there heads. I call Cote by flying heel hook in the second round because that would be wacky.

"Cote by flying heel hook in the second round because that would be wacky"
Not going to happen. The chances are better that a light from the ceiling would fall and KO Silva. Now that would be wacky.

I think this fight plays out exactly like Silva’s last fight against Irvin. He’s going to fight against a guy (Cote) that likes to stand and bang. Only problem is that he doesn’t stand and bang quite as effectively as Silva does.
Plus, it’s obvious by now tht Silva has incredibly deceptive power. I thought he had glass shards under his gloves the way irvin’s face looked after getting dropped.

Looks like The Curse is 9-5, not exactly a stellar record.

We all should be so cursed
to bang Rachelle Leah on All Access, I mean be interviewed by her, and then knock out a Canadian the following weekend. The only chance that I give Cote is that he seems to have more reach than Irvin (although I do not know the actual measurements) and anyone can be caught. Cote has also shown that he has KO power. But I think that Silva is more than aware of that and will pick him apart. Silva TKO by strikes in the 2nd.
