good job on getting ken shamrock on the show. think you may ask him about being concussed so many times and if he worries about it? or if he, like many other athletes in multiple sports, is having a difficult time trying to retire? kind of difficult questions, but important for him and the sport.

Questions for Ken

So Ken,

How come you look so much more muscular and your skin seems so much thinner – almost like paper? I mean, here you are, years older, and you seem to have so much buffer. Is it a miracle? or vitamins? Or, you know, are you a huge steroid junkie?
What chance did the doctors give you for avoiding brain damage this time out?
Do you think you can get the fight to the ground before you lose motor function in your legs?
So, been saving up for retirement?

On another forum where we are lucky enough to have an interviewer who solicits questions for fighters from fans, we consider shit like that pretty disrespectful. Why waste anyone’s time with your poor attempt at insult comedy?

Wow – I guess there’s another reason I don’t post at that forum! This is the sort of place where people appreciate poor attempts at insult comedy. And thank goodness for that!

Also: which of the following points, made in jest above, do you disagree with:

Ken looks like he’s been using steroids.
Ken is endangering his health by fighting considering how often and how easily he gets knocked out lately.
Ken ought to retire gracefully instead of trashing his legacy by continuing his slide into mediocrity a la Tank Abbot.

Because, you know – I believe all of those thing.

Wow – you guys need to lighten up. He does this each week and they are hilarious. Just because this week’s questions are directed at a roided-up old guy with a glass chin that you happen to have a sweet spot for doesn’t make them not funny.

And, how is this a waste of time and space? Are you guys really that pressed for time? If you are, then I have a little tip for you – get to work and stop combing the article comments for little nuggets of wisdom.

BTW whoever the genius is at WJFK that came up with the idea to broadcast Maryland Terps football needs to lose his job. Talk about a ratings disaster. I’d rather listen to that douchebag Pat Gauss than Maryland Terps football on the radio.

Ken Shamrock is actually a very intelligent sounding guy. I think he came across very well here for the most part, I think he’d be valuable as an advice guy for EliteXC.

Damn Luke, I’m a big fan of the show and of Jordan Breen, but to anyone who listens to both shows, I think its clear that you two talk to each other too much about show topics.
