UFC Counter Programs EliteXC With UFC 86

As I suspected, the UFC will be airing a taped PPV show opposite of EliteXC's October 4 show. UFC 86 will air on Spike head to head with EliteXC, and if they time it right the goal will be to have Quinton Jackson vs. Forrest Griffin on opposite of the Kimbo fight.

UFC 87 will air on October 11 on Spike. This was probably originally scheduled in order to counter program Affliction.

UFC 87 is also for the spillage…

Whatever fans the CBS show generates will spill over to UFC’s funnel the week after.

Im looking forward to the EliteXC card over a re-run card that I already saw.

You can say all you want about Kimbo vs Shamrock, but Daley vs Shields ALONE is better than a rerun! Ninja vs Radach is better as well. Not to mention Gina Carano vs Kobold and Cyborg fighting. Hell Cyborg alone is better.
