lol, I love how Dana White never has to take a tough interview due to the scared fanboys around and gets away with stuff like that.

Yeah, that evil Dana White. Wait, isn’t releasing somebody from their contract the same as cutting them? So what if he’s technically telling the truth, Dana White is the devil!

Who says he was lying about that? I’m talking about the hyperbole about Tim “not being able to cut it”. You know, Tim Sylvia, dude who had just fought for the vacant UFC Heavyweight title.

No. He had lost 2 of his last 3, but both in title fights. If you want to get with numbers like that, he was 6 of his last 8. Better record than Randy, in fact.

Two Sided..
When Silvia was under contract with UFC. Dayna was saying how good he was. And how entertaining he was which was complete opposite. He is the most uninteresting fighter I’ve seen. He would rather go all three rounds and win than go in and give it his all… Only time I rooted for Tim Sylvia is when he faught Brandon Vera, at which I won a tshirt for that night, so thanks Tim!

Yup. Affliction never sold their tickets for $40 on the day of the event, never bought 25% of their tickets, and never asked anyone to cut 50% of their pay either.

... of course while he was under contract he was, you know, under contract. So Dana pretty much had to do whatever he could to try to promote the guy’s fights. Now that he’s not under contract there’s no reason for Dana to pretend that Sylvia is anything more than what he is: big, awkward, and boring. That might be “two sided,” but it’s also pretty consistent with running a business and having Tim Sylvia as a product (and then not having him as a product as soon as you don’t have to put up with him anymore).

Oh, we all get that. Its just hilarious to see people lap it up now like this time, Dana is really serious and totally talking from the heart.

It’s easier to think he’s really serious and talking from the heart this time, though, because we all agree with what he’s saying!
