Tomorrow on "MMA Nation" we'll be talking to author Dr. David Mayeda about his new book "Fighting for Acceptance". We'll unwrap the allure of mixed martial arts, it's relationship to violence and its impact on society.
We'll also be speaking with Affliction commentator and top-ranked MMA middleweight Frank Trigg. We'll ask him about his upcoming bout with judoka Makoto Takimoto at Sengoku 4 on August 24th at the Saitma Super Arena.

Stay tuned. I’m trying to get America’s greatest judoka Ronda Rousey to come on the show. Looks promising.
The Mayeda interview should make for an intelligent discussion….. i love MMA but don’t discount it’s negative aspects. like anything else it has it’s good with it’s bad, and it is disingenuous to talk up one while downplaying the other…....have you read the book, Luke? wonder if he would comp copies for review purposes?

It’s worth reading. It reads like a long dissertation from a structure point of view, but getting past that is easy. Email him and he’ll def send you a copy.
cool…....i just finished up randy’s book…...gonna try to throw together a review of it this week-end maybe…... this would make for a good second review to work on…..
