The UFC May Return to Montreal This Year
Originally, the UFC hoped to hold a show in Boston in November of this year. However, they were unable to get regulated in time, and it looks like they may be heading back to Montreal instead:
The UFC is looking to return to Canada later this year...
White said the mixed martial arts organization hopes to return in November or December.
They already have the TUF finale and their annual Las Vegas show at the end of December, so I suspect it would be for November if they get it done, possibly with St. Pierre vs. Penn on top.

I really hope this happens. It has been talked about that it may occur at Olympic Stadium this time as well. If they could sell out that venue it would be huge for the UFC, as well as mixed martial arts in Canada. GSP/Penn would be a great headlining bout as well. It’s too bad we won’t be able to see Cote on the card as well, just like last time. If they are planning to hold it at Olympic Stadium it will easily be one of the biggest events for the organization and they should make sure the card is absolutely stacked. Could we see Griffin defend his belt for the first time at this event as well…? One can only hope…

If GSP/Penn is on it Griffin won’t defend. That’s likely for Vegas at the end of the year.

Ehh..a november fight with Penn would be a very quick turnaround for GSP after fighting on the August card…but I agree that Griffin will not defend his belt until December more than likely against Liddell if he gets back Evans.
