GracieFighter.com Returns Fire at KJ Noons

Today GracieFighter.com posted a rebuttal to the KJ Noons statement regarding his pending fight on CBS with Nick Diaz. The statement makes some very valid points and certainly adds more fuel to the fire of this already hot rivalry:
We break down the KJ Noons cryfest point by point.
"Honor my contract. Elite XC wants to talk about honoring the contract. How about when Elite XC honored the contract and my pay to fight Edson Berto went down after I lost my first fight. That was not part of my contract. Or how about the contract Gary Shaw breached by not promoting my boxing career? Gary Shaw only gave me one out of four of the agreed upon fights. I have not boxed for over a year. When I signed with Elite XC, I was promised they would promote both my boxing and MMA careers. I could have signed with another MMA only company, but I wanted to box too."
GF- 1) Earth to KJ; you don't have a boxing career. No one in the boxing world knows who you are. 2) Another MMA company would have paid you less and not given you a title shot, especially when you were 1-1.
3) If you will not fight Diaz due to a breach of contract by EliteXC then why would you fight Alvarez for the same terms?

Cesar has been making poor a$$ excuses for Nick for a while now.
For calling KJ a whiner, that’s all Nick does through Cesar for crimmeny’s sake. Wake up and enough of the nut hugging.
The Gracies need to shutup and let KJ resolve this with EXC. It’s none of their business at this point, especially since they’re getting preferential treatment.
Gracie’s? – it’s just Cesar. I think you are guilty of something much deeper than “nuthugging”. Take your juvenile phrases and Gracie hate back to Sherdog please.
Truth be told, I’m a Gracie fan and have trained with various family members and use to like Nick when he spoke through his actions in the ring (and left it there).
Cesar has been making cock and bull stories for Nick for the past year starting with the steroid charge through the weed DQ and so on…
Regardless if it’s just Cesar, they are posting this nonesense through Gracie fighter.
The matter is between Noons and EliteXC.
Why they chose to intervene and act and write the way they do is pretty classless and not worthy of the Gracie name.
And zero, how does it smell down there? KInd of funky?

I’m a Gracie supporter on most levels, but if this is a contract/employment problem with KJ and EXC, then they should keep their mouths shut.
Just like in other sports, you can get on a player for many things, but you don’t speak about their money.
As for KJ saying EXC treats Diaz differently…he is spot on.

There is no contrat problem if KJ in under c contract its that simple he signed the dam thing. Gracie responces to what KJ said are very valid and make KJ look even worse if you ask me so many things they brought up about other orgs and fighters KJ being 1-1 given a title shot are right on the $$$$. I really don’t like Nick Diaz at all but I am bqacking him and GF when it comes to this, KJ is making himself look terrable in 95% of the the eyes of fighters and fans in the MMA World

Here’s something Fightlinker dug up about KJ claiming EXC left him out in promoting the Renegade DVD…
There’s really nothing on that site other than his profile. If having a profile on your employer’s website is an example of being ‘promoted’ on the website, then the UFC is ‘promoting’ Tomasz Drwal and Kazuhiro Nakamura on their website. Obviously that’s not the case, but it’s still a stretch to say that his profile on Pro Elite’s website qualifies as being ‘promoted’ there.
What else does he want?
To have his ego stroked for “beating” Nick Diaz?
He said, on InsideMMA, that he would gladly paint another masterpiece with Diaz’s face. I say he backs it up. Like a man.

No doubt, the response poked some holes in Noons story, but some of the shit they floated was just plain stupid. The little aside about Noons’ dad serves no real purpose in the war of words. Whether the claim has any merit or not is beside the point. It’s the guy’s dad.
This is starting to look like an EliteXC hype job. First, there was Rogers/Kimbo. Now, it’s Noons/Diaz. I know; I’m a cynical bastard. These memos just seem quite numerous all of the sudden. It’s an easy way to get noticed on the blogs without having to file some ugly financial numbers with the SEC.
