Carano’s defensively not bad, but she’s one step behind Couture.

not sure what you mean by one step behind??? it looks like they are flow grappling; neither is trying very hard. plus carano was offensive from her back

Agreed—I don’t see how Carano is behind… if anything, I think Kim’s skill level is a little behind. She tried to pull a Kimura while on her back without being in guard. Also, Carano had the armbar, she let go.

yeah, carano could have easily gone for an armbar counter while kim was trying for the kimura

I knew Mr. steak_knife would be all over this. Personally, I’m far from a ground fighting expert, but I think if Carano puts in the work, she could be quite dangerous on the ground. It was striking to me how small and fragile – frame wise – Couture looks compared to Gina.

Gina is a physical specimen, compared to most other women's MMA fighters.

And yes, she’s got a helluva rack. But she’s just a well-built woman at 5’8", or whatever she is. It’s not hard to understand why she dominates similar talent.

I’m really quite impressed with her, after watching most of her kickboxing and MMA fights on the ’net. Impressively athletic.

There is no such thing as innocence, only degrees of guilt.

guilty of loving all things Gina

You are a good man for posting this, Cannon J. This vid is WAY too short though.

Too short, indeed.

Okay, that was pretty cool – but what mix of Paper Planes is that?

It’s the Diplo remix. The verse playing in the vid is Bun B.
