I can’t imagine how much more the cost of adding Ozzy to the show will add.

He’s got a pre-existing deal with Affliction (they make “signature” Ozzy shirts like they do for fighters) so maybe he’ll cut them a deal.
Agreed, though – this is pointless and should be more painful to watch than Megadeth.

Is this a fight or a concert? How embarassing!

There's still hope,
since the caption only says he’ll be ‘performing.’ Didn’t say anything about signing..we might be introducing a whole new spin on MMA. Some sort of live-action Celebrity Deathmatch, in which we get to see Ozzy get destroyed by some younger, snot-nosed punk rocker?
At least that would increase MY likelihood of viewing the event…

signing=singing
I hate the lack of an edit button.

Of course. Waste even more money on the performers than the things that matter, like production values and better bouts.
And I thought Dana was just being his old evil self when he was ripping on Affliction. Looks like he might be right.

good point
I wonder how much Ozzy is charging to sing ONE song. And how many fighters will have a purse smaller than Ozzy’s purse?

Do you mean how much Sharon is charging...
Gimme Ozzy circa 1985…Over the past 6-8 years he has just turned into a sad marionette with Sharon pulling the strings…and not doing a good job of it either…his performances have steadily declined in quality over that timeframe

I would assume affliction is doing this hoping Ozzy will draw people not so familiar with MMA? I hate the idea of having to wait thru an OZZY song to watch a fight

The worst part of this whole thing is that now we’re gonna have to look at that photo here for a while…

Now I know what I will be missing when I flip to the UFC’s counter-programing.

I tolerated magadeath because fedor was finally fighting legit comp…
I have to pay to sit through ozzy for one compelling fight?
Affliction already lost have their buys because the card is not as stacked… now they be facing a revolt amongst the hardcores.

Has affliction management learned nothing? Ozzy isn’t going to help the quality of the fights in the ring. If affliction is the biggest threat to the UFC then the UFC has nothing to worry about.

"Every performance needs a little blood," said Ozzy Osbourne. "I look forward to seeing the fighters get roughed up a bit. Performing in Las Vegas is always a good time."

This is gonna cost buku bucks
He’s not going to cut them a deal. The Osbourne’s are notorious for charging Ozzfest acts 200k+ to be on tour with them.
PS; does anyone has 90 bucks I can borrow? That shirt looks faaaaaaaaabulous!
