Tony Hawk hosted a benefit - "Stand Up For Skateparks" - to raise $50,000 for the Manhattan Bridge Skatepark in New York City. Matt Serra and Wanderlei Silva were in attendance. See the rest of the pictures here.
Big thanks to Transworld Skateboarding magazine for the cool photos.

A post from the UG:
So my company sends me to this Tony Hawk skateboarding benefit in Bridgehampton, New York yesterday and the UFC has a promotional tent.
Now this benefit is basically for all the super rich people that hang out in the Hamptons (I’m surprised they even let a heathen like myself there), and not very many of these types watch MMA or even know who Wanderlei Sila is.
I knew that the UFC would be there but I didn’t think they would have any fighters.
So I stroll over to their tent thinking to get some free promotional stuff and see Wanderlei sitting there looking bored out of his mind. I nearly sh*t my pants and I get that look on my face like I’m looking Jessica Alba naked.
I run over there and do the “I’m not worthy! I’m not worthy!” type bow and all of a sudden he gets this big smile like “Damn, its about time a fan recognized me”.
He stands up with a smile, gives me a hug and hand shake, and I’m telling him how much I love him… *NOTE – not in a gay way… not that there’s anything wrong with that. I get pictures and he signs an autograph, I was like a kid in a candy store. I had a smile on my face for like 5 hours straight.
Anyways, simultaneously with this, Matt Serra is sitting there too and he gives me the ole broham hug and fist grab. Get a picture with him, ask him about when he’s fighting Hughes. He says, “as soon as he gets better (I guess he’s injured?)” and then says, “there’s no f*cking way I’m losing to that guy…” Awesome.
It was crazy cause Wanderlei is at this festival/benefit/charity thing just chillin, pretty much nobody knows who he is, and I’m sitting there just following him around like a 10 year old follows his 15 year old brother. I was going to ask him to beat the crap out of me just so that I had a sweet story like, “Got my ass beat by Wanderlei Silva this weekend”.
I’m still pumped. BTW, they gave out a UFC gym bag with like 10 t-shirts in it.

that is cool… Wanderlei scares the crap out of me though.. posing like that with him seems dangerous
