There’s no way in hell Grigoryan is fighting at 205.

I was thinking they put him in the wrong list, but I guess some guys will go to whatever lengths necessary to get on TUF.

He’s gonna be significantly smaller… I hope he does good. Anyways when does the season start?

What about heavyweights?
Having two heavyweight coaches would have been a perfect time to have heavyweight TUF contestants to start rebuilding the division, but instead we get more lightweights? This is a major goof, IMHO.

The HWs are so weak already. they have a couple of young guys coming up and as far as I know, there probably aren’t another 16 out there to fill the show.
Somehow, I get the feeling they are waiting on a couple of promotions to fold, then sign some of their HWs.

Actually a lot of guys on this list seem to fit comfortably in heavyweight. I’m sure some dramatic weight cutting segments will be made.

I don’t even think there is enuff up and coming HW propects they could do a TUFF with right NOW ? THE HW devision in all of MMA is hurting real Bad, Even in the smaller shows you harldy ever see a half way decent HW fight anymore shit you are lucky if you even see a HW fight on a smaller show today. Pretty Much Zuffa has the 3 top HW propects now in Brock,Cane and Shane Carwin.

From MMAWeekly...
Though no official announcements have been made in regards to assistant coaches, there is heavy speculation that UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and light heavyweight contender Lyoto Machida will assist Nogueira, while Mir is expected to be assisted by Abu Dhabi submission champion Robert Drysdale and Wanderlei Silva conditioning coach Rafael Alejarra.

I heard that Machida and Silva are drop-ins and not the regular coaches, but I could be wrong.

Jason Guida?
There really isn’t enough talent floating around to put this show on in a meaningful way anymore.

I understand that they want to keep the steam rolling with MMA and TUF but this is season 8 now. I think it would be wise to fall into a regular tv format. The lull can actually create its own hype as people wait for it to come back on. And maybe then they can take the time to decipher which divisions need it the most and which fighters to incorporate in the seasons.
