Amir Sadollah said that he'll be fighting again in September or - more likely - October. At this point, the opponent is not known.
"I’ll be fighting at middleweight. I will not be dropping to 170," said Sadollah.

Granted, but he may come back if he believes he can win. McCarthy is all about winning.

Belcher is booked for Fight Night 15 against Ed Herman, and Sakara is strongly rumored to be on the same card against newcomer Joe Vedepo.
Eastman might be a credible test for Amir, as I’d like to see him face someone that wasn’t on TUF with him. Two other interesting matchups for Amir would be Joe Doerksen and Kendall Grove.

Really don’t think he is ready for Doerksen. Or Grove for that matter.

I strongly disagree with the asessment regarding Grove. Perhaps Doerksen would pose too big a challenge this early in Amir’s career, but since when is Kendall Grove a high-level fighter?
Grove has shown remarkable inconsistency if anything…submitting Belcher, but then getting smashed by Cote and KO’d by Jorge Rivera in consecutive fights before coming back to dominate a past-his-prime and not-all-mentally-there Evan Tanner. Therefore, I’d argue that Grove is in the same boat as Amir in terms of not yet being ready for stiff competition…that’s why the match-up between the two of them makes sense.

Please not Dante Rivera. I hope the UFC dropped him. I would like to see him fight McCarthy or Sakara

Yeah!
I like Sadollah, glad he beat that prick CB. Hope this kid goes far because I like his fights and fighting style. Him moving to Vegas and training with Forrest now is gonna make him even better.

Heh
I know and the second one was sweeter too! He tried to fake tap and then played it off when they stopped it. He looked like a complete moron! And I was very satisfied. lol

You know, if the UFC wants more depth in its middleweight division, they should do more light heavyweights on the next TUF since everybody seems to want to drop a weight class or two afterwards. :-)

What I am about to say may be very stupid...
but I would like to see a TUF with super heavyweights, to create a new weight class.

Or to come up with some heavyweights who can’t possibly drop down to LHW!

Are you thinking that Heath Herring is going to drop down to LHW?

No, I think he’s going to take a year off and juice hardcore until he makes it to 285. :-)
