Mike Unfortunate-name-etta bumped Anderson Silva from his top spot why? We know that Fedor’s the man, and it’s great that he’s had a chance to prove it after years of meaningless fights – now let’s seem him prove it a few more times.
Clearly you can make a case for either guy – but why did Silva come down after moving up a weight class (P4P, right?) and punching James Irvin hard enough to make him cry?

- St-Pierre beat Penn, plus he’s fought tougher opponents, and has fewer losses. It’s nonsense to rank Penn above St-Pierre.
- Liddell beat Couture – twice, and decisively.
