UFC 90 adds Fabricio Werdum vs Junior dos Santos?:
Fabricio Werdum says in a video interview (in Portuguese) that he's probably facing Junior dos Santos at UFC 90. And he affirms that if he beats him, he'll be the next challenger for the heavyweight belt.

That’s great. I expected Werdum to be added to this show, and though he’s not facing a big name for a number of reasons, his presence on the card helps to round out the show.
I also expect Gray Maynard to fight on this show, and I’m hoping/thinking it will be against either Spencer Fisher or Sean Sherk, but it’s purely speculative on my behalf.

Who is Junior dos Santos? Also, I wouldn’t wanna see Maynard/Fisher…it would just be a replay of Fisher/Edgar IMO…

Gray Maynard and Sean Sherk would be just as bad. Two blanket fighters = boredom

Dos Santos
is another Brazilian, a mid-level HW. He’s had a couple decent showings in little Brazilian shows over absolute scrubs, Werdum is gonna walk through him. I had no idea he signed with the UFC or how that happened. Wonder who his manager is.

That title fight
is just going to keep receding over the horizon for Werdum. As long as Big Nog is the champ they’re not going to put him in against another (relatively) unpopular Brazilian.
If Big Nog becomes a star on the next TUF season and demolishes Frank Mir, then maybe Werdum will get his shot. But the money is getting Lesnar to a title shot ASAP. To bad they’re putting him in against Heath Herring. He’s likely to lose.

Hmm
They are gonna have to do Werdum/Nog at some point…they can co-main event that with something else…it’s gonna be a while before Lesnar is built up and ready…Cain Velasquez will be ready before Brock will…

Yep, they gonna do Nog/Werdum…unless one of them takes a L.

If you really believe Lesnar is likely to lose to Herring, you should put some money down, because the bookies disagree.
How many wins do you think Lesnar needs for the UFC to credibly give him a title shot? Two more if he gets past Herring.

I will state the reasons at the time
But I do believe Herring will beat Lesnar. And I do plan on putting money on it.

Bookies also had him as the favorite against Frank Mir. You’re really not saying much here.

True, but they had Mir as much less of an underdog than Herring.
