Could we ask for a more unassuming champ? The elements of his mystique are numerous: Zero ego. Cuts easy. No trash talk. Kinda rolly-polly. Premature balding and smashes people like they owed him money.
Best moment of the Affliction card was Fedor moseying down the isle to the ring wearing a gaudy sponsor shirt, looking at his feet, and seemingly a little melancholy. Kinda like that mouse that is let loose to beat up the cats. Totally unimpressive right up until he does his thing. Let’s hope he really does fight two more times this year.

My introduction to MMA was Aleks vs. Thompson. To date, that staredown is one of my favorite things in humanity’s history.

Which kind of cuts are we talking about? Because he bleeds, but he sure doesn’t go out of his way to lose weight…

I’ve never heard of this guy before, but looking at his picture I’m not very impressed. I’m thinking Kimbo via first round K.O.

Pictures like this make me forget that he’s actually YOUNGER than Anderson Silva.

God, he’s so flashy, look at that over the top design on his shorts. Tone it down a notch Hollywood.

He should try his hand at LHW. Maybe is a few years we are talking about Anderson Silva v. Fedor to unify every belt on the planet.

Where is the testing?!?
He is clearly juiced. You don’t get a physique like that naturally!

He looks like a Russian BJ Penn (when Penn fought GSP)

In some of the other pics you can see that his triceps are almost as developed as his biceps – which should give him more snap in his punches. Big biceps are useful for holding people close and pulling things in, but as the largest muscle group in the arm, they’re almost ALWAYS strong enough without wasting time on a million curls like those idiots in the free-weight area at the gym. This is the kind of physique you see on people with useful strength: professional movers and such.

I’m not sure I exactly agree with this logic. Neither the assumed proportions of the muscles in the arm nor the use of biceps being irrelevent to boxing.
