I really appreciated Frank’s calm demeanor in responding to a guy that was obviously trying to provoke him. He interrupted Frank numerous time while demanding to be able to finish his own points. Fighting is the original sport. All other sports are a watered down version of fighting. Every sport is about “submitting” your opponent.

I agree
The laughing was a little unprofessional, but understandable. He did a great job keeping his cool as you said.
As for the actual issue here, I see no problem with child MMA, but I think slightly more safety precautions ought to be taken until they are older, as with any child contact sports.

Still I was kind of disturbed with the original piece that led to the debate, it seems weird to me to see 5 and 6 years old punching each other.
I would be okay to let my children learn grappling from a early age, but contact sparing like that seems a bit too much for me. Mainly because some of the kids really didn’t look like they wanted to be there.
