A Word About Decorum and Comments

We have a lot of new visitors and registered members of the site, all of which I am beyond grateful to have. I always enjoy hearing the perspective a buzzing community has to offer.

But this is not Sherdog.net or the UG. This is not a place where we hurl cheap insults at one another or make baseless accusations. This is a place where everyone is free to comment and disagree with anyone - particularly me - but only if they are committed to acting like adults. This is not a place for vindictive children.

To accuse me or anyone else of being on the UFC payroll to do their online bidding is laughable to the point of being pathetic. Folks, the UFC will barely return my emails. I had to beg them just to get their press releases. There is not now and never has been a relationship between the UFC and this site. In fact, read what I've been saying about the UFC the last few years. You'll find that much of it has been withering criticism.

Tell me I'm wrong about Affliction or anything else until you're blue in the face. I am certainly no less prone to getting matters wrong than anyone else. But do so in a way that comports with basic standards of decency.

That is not negotiable.
