Why Hardcore Fans Love Quinton "Rampage" Jackson

This video only contains older footage from Rampage's early fights, but it's exciting nevertheless and shows the unpredictable yet athletic style Rampage trademarked for himself. I particularly like the footage of Rampage owning Cyril Abidi in K-1.

This video accomplished one thing....

It just reminded me what is the number one matchup in the 205lb division. I would pay almost anything I could afford to watch Rampage and Wanderlei go at it one more time.

Couldn’t agree more. We may get a pretty good fight from Wanderlei before that also. Him and Thiago Silva would be nasty. Anyone know if thats just a rumor or if its happening?

Still a rumor at this point…nothing is signed….although I’d rather see Wandy/Machida

Wanderlei-Machida has more implications in the rankings and on the title shot but i see it going the same way as all of Machidas fight. Him backpedalling and avoiding damage the entire time and landing occasional flurries. Thiago-Wanderlei would be an absolute slugfest and IMO has FOTY potential.

While I love Thiago/Wand ...

I think Wand has something Tito and most of Machida’s opponents didn’t have: Really aggressive and smart footwork. I think he’s one of the guys who could have him backing into octagon corners and pinning him there with strikes and constantly working for the clinch. Even though Machida has excellent strikes, we know what kind of beating Wand will take and keep coming at you.

Machida would rock my world if he were able to put Wand down, but I don’t see it happening. MOTY regardless. But Thiago/Wand is still a close contender. :)

I like that slam he put on Igor Vovchanchyn.
