Countdown to "Affliction: Banned"

That guys voice sounds ridiculous. The small amount of fight footage does nothing but hurt the countdown thingy. And at first he referes to Fedor being like Tiger, Jordan blah blah blah because fans call him by his one name?! LOL It also has to do with the fact that nobody else has that name (its not like his name is Bob), and most people who aren’t hardcore MMA fans couldnt even pronounce his last name. Anyways, should be some pretty good squash matches.

The only fight on the card worth paying to see is Fedor vs. Tim, and that’s really only in theory. Fight could be over in 30 seconds, or it could go the distance, but either way, im not going to spend 40 dollars on it. And yeah, the narrator on the countdown does sound silly, and Big John sounds like he’s reading from que cards. The fights on Affliction are seemingly trying to cater to educated fans; I don’t think they are hoping to recruit new fans. I base that on the fact that new fans will have no idea who most of these fighters are.

I’m excited for this card but this hype job was terrible:(
