Saturday on MMA Nation on 106.7 WJFK: Jordan Breen, Michael Lynch of WAMMA, Seph Smith
Saturday on "MMA Nation" we'll be talking to Sherdog writer and radio personality Jordan Breen. He'll be giving us an exclusive look into the Brad McCray situation and why he was ultimately released from Sherdog after only 5 weeks on the job.
We'll also be talking to WAMMA Chief Operating Officer Michael Lynch. I'll ask him about how WAMMA plans to succeed in a world where the UFC doesn't acknowledge their existence.
In the entire second hour, Seph Smith (Sambo black belt, Judo brown belt, BJJ purple belt under Lloyd Irvin) will join us in studio to technically breakdown the fights on the Affliction and UFC cards.
"MMA Nation" airs every Saturday 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on 106.7 WJFK. To listen live over the Internet, go to WJFK's website and click "Listen Live".

How about calling Brad McCray and getting his side of the situation, Luke? Otherwise you’re only getting one side a story in which the two sides have polar opposite versions of what went down.

Sure
I’ll try to get Brad on next week, although his side of the story is already out there. It’s actually Sherdog that has yet to have the issue presented from their vantage point.

Check out the beginning of yesterday’s Savage Dog Show. Sherwood “addressed” it… somewhat. I’m sure Breen will be more forthcoming with details.

But you haven’t addressed either side here yet (unless I missed a post somewhere along the way), and unlike with other MMA blogs, you’ve developed a reputation for fairness. So I’m glad to hear you’re going to attempt to contact McCray.

Yeah
I didn’t think it was an issue, but this sort of thing has grown legs. Believe me, I’ll make sure everyone gets the opportunity to talk about this issue if they want.

![A little publicity for me today in the Washington City Paper. To wit:
But listening to Kinard, it sounds like management has decided Thomas can transcend his surroundings.
"We thought we’d experiment with some different kinds of shows last year, and of all of them, MMA Nation is the only one that lasted," Kinard says. "I wasn’t aware of anybody else doing [an MMA show]. And [in April] he outperformed our normal weekend ratings by more than double. We started out thinking this has the potential to be a nationally syndicated show, and that’s still our plan. You see MMA all over the place on TV, so why not on the radio?"
I hate to be over the top with the self-promotion, but no one is going to hand me the job and career I'm after. I want to work in MMA full time and the fact is I have to make it happen for myself. Thank you to everyone who has ever shown me an ounce of support towards the pursuit of that dream.
