Video: "Affliction: Banned" Preview
It's quite apparent that not having access to the library of fighters documenting, say, Fedor's achievements hinders the ability of Affliction to really market him as the best heavyweight in the world. With Fedor, seeing is not only believing; it's necessary.

Yeah, if I were a casual fan I don’t know that video of a hirsute Russian man doing chin-ups in the woods would get my $40. And I would be disappointed when Andrei Arlovski fought and his hands didn’t actually emit flames.

Guess this puts the kybosh on the commentary that Fedor bought/negotiated the rights to all his video from Pride. I don’t understand how anyone could have believed that.

a fight promo without fight highlights
Not having an outlet like Spike TV is really hurting this promotion. The UFC Countdown and All Access shows really make this preview look terrible.
I know they don’t have the rights to show any Pride/UFC footage—but give us something.

I especially hate the slow-motion punching whilst covered in water of just about every fighter in the preview. Just looks silly.

Nice to see they’ve already accepted their inevitable failure. It should sting a little less now.
