C.B. Dollaway vs. Jesse Taylor
According to mmajunkie.com Dana White has backed away from his statement that jesse Taylor would never fight in the UFC again. He is set to face the guy who replaced him in the finale C.B. Dollaway on July 19th @ Ultimate Fight Night 14.
It really doesn't bother me that White has back tracked since I think most people deserve a second chance. I actually like this fight and hope that it makes it's way to the show so I can see it.

I dont like it...
this soon, anyway. Taylor deserves another chance. It’s just too soon. Dana made this huge deal about Taylor’s actions on the show, and that he needed to grow up. I guess he’s done a lot a maturing over the past few months. It makes the whole punishment scenario look like a made-for-TV ratings moment.
He did...
enroll in AA and has taken some other actions to clean up his life. I think he was punished quite a bit by not being able to win the competition. As long as he isn’t making the kind of money CB or Amir are making I have no problem with it.

Okay.
I’m not going to be negative about a guy who’s trying to clean up his act. However, I still think that the big Dana White shit fit was more of a way to gain viewers than a punishment for Taylor. The controversy scenario basically carried the final episode of TUF. Maybe if there weren’t so much drama injected into the original controversy, It wouldn’t be a big deal to me.

That's true...
I mean…human beings don’t all of a sudden “mature” mentally in a matter of months. How you can say that he wasn’t ready mentally to be in the UFC a few months ago…but now suddenly is…I dunno.

Not really...
...then again I have a number of alcoholics in my family. But if he was actually an alcoholic (as enrolling in AA would lead one to believe) then he can’t really be “past” those demons.
