"Yeah, it’s crazy. If you look at the numbers, he should be someone who just walks right through me. I shouldn’t be fighting somebody the caliber like this, you know, somebody like Yves. He’s had so many fights, but I feel that he’s the one thats supposed to win. I’m the underdog and I like being the under dog. I’ve had a lot of fights with other styles, and I think it’s going to be a great fight."

EliteXC Fight of the Year?

I sincerely hope this is the next CBS main event and not wasted on Showtime. This absolutely has to be on free tv to bounce them back from that horrible Kimbo show.

I can’t think of anything else Elite has left in the tank to rebound from the fiasco that was their last show.

Anyone?

This one is all set for Showtime this coming Saturday.
They’ve still got Jake Shields - one of the best welterweights in the world - defending his 170lb belt for the next CBS show. No telling how long before Frank Shamrock will be healed enough to fight again.
