Dana White Denies Mayweather Rumor
So says Carmichael Dave of Sacramento sports radio station KHTK 1140, who posted a text message from White on the Sherdog.net forums last night. When questioned by Dave about Floyd Mayweather, Jr.'s rumored move to the UFC, here's what the shiny headed one allegedly had to say:
LMFAO! Neeeeevver! I have been in london and just landed in NYC! If I was gonna pay 200 million (dollars), it would be to mixed martial artists who fight their fuckin' asses off, not a bunch of pussy boxers that don't fuckin' fight. And you can quote me on that.
Who to believe, MediaTakeOut.com or Carmichael Dave? And if the text is legit, who's to say Dana's not flat out lying? I don't recall how much Brock Lesnar got paid for his first fight, but I'm sure it was a good deal more than experienced fighters on the same card were earning.

Sorry, but that seems else credible than the Iranian Threat.

Oh and kind of a non-point since this may all be bullshit, but Brock Lesnar made $250,000 for his fight against Frank Mir, who made $140,000 for beating him (and that includes Mir’s “Submission of the Night” bonus).

This is such bullshit, I’ll believe it when the Ray Lewis rumor from mediatakeout comes through.

You guys have about as much a chance of seeing me fight in the UFC as you do Mayweather. And in case you were wondering, that is absolutely zero, lol.
I can’t believe how many people are discussing this, let alone believing Floyd would fight mma.
He would need to train for an extended period, take a ginormous pay cut, endanger any boxing comeback due to injury, and could you imagine him and Dana trying to co-exist? Freaking laughable.
"They said you was hung!!"
"And they was RIGHT!"

Agreed. The idea that Floyd Mayweather would risk his legacy and his health to fight mma is just a little to far fetched for me to believe.
