WWE's Lashley signs with AFL

For the second time in a little over a year, a significant WWE attraction has switched from fantasy to reality and is entering the gauntlet we all love known as MMA. Bobby Lashley, one of the WWE's biggest attractions has decided to give up wrestling ring as he has signed a mulit-fight contract with the American Fight League(AFL).  Unlike Brock Lesnar, who signed with the UFC after one professional fight, Lashley will look to hone his skills against lesser competition in the beginning.  Similiarly to Lesnar, Lashely is an accomplished wrestler. He was a four time all-american at Missouri Valley College. As a member of the U.S. Army, he became a two- time Armed Forces Champion. His physique, which is one that looks chiseled from stone and very similiar to Lesnars, will most likely take a step back as all the larger MMA organizations are drug tested by the states they fight in.  I'm certain that if he shows any ability he will be scooped up by the likes of Gary Shaw as his version of Brock Lesnar. It'll be interesting to see how many more WWE entertainers will cross over from the Ring of fiction to the Ring of Reality.
