Gladiator show in Korea on 8-16-08 will have the headline bout of Minowa-man vs Don Frye. Gary Goodridge also is on the card.
This was reported Sunday but somehow snuck by me. I am very excited to see Don Frye back in action, and against an opponent he matches up well with and can possibly beat. Too often anymore the older stars of MMA try to hang on to their glory years and take fights that they have no business taking.(for examples see Sakuraba, Coleman, Goodridge, etc.) Minowa is definitely the favorite here, but Frye is more than capable of winning this bout just by virtue of his size difference alone. I hope the predator still has a little magic left in him.
By the way, didn't Gary Goodridge retire at Pride Shockwave 2003 against Frye?(insert sarcasm here)
