How about Kimbo Tapping! Got a picture of that?

I’ve heard two different stories! He tapped on the guillotine, he tapped on the elbows!

I noticed the camera shot away from the fight for a brief moment when Thompson had him in the Guillotine

I thought I saw something

I didn’t TiVo the fight since I was watching it at a friend’s house, but there was a moment when Thompson had him on the ground that he sorta reached up and tapped Thompson just one time. It was hard to tell if he was just verifying body position or thinking about quitting. One girl I watched with (who trains BJJ, so you can believe what she says) thought he tapped as well.

I DVRed it, and haven’t been able to find the tapping on the ground. As for the guillotine tap, it clearly wasn’t.

However, I was wondering if I missed it when they screwed with the Camera and went all the way to a stadium view!

Some have said this was done purposely or else why wouldn’t they fix that for the taped segment?

For a live show...

That would have been some REALLY fast directing to cut away from a tap. I can’t imagine that they could pull that off in their first MMA show.

Naah. the thing is, with all the legitimate nonsense in the show, I don’t think people need to be manufacturing conspiracies.

I think the entire event from the marketing of a street thug gone “professional”, Gina “Find Another Line of Work” Carano being as unprofessional as possible by not making weight, the seemingly obvious one sided officiating of the main event and the post fight press conference debacle was a massive failure on EliteXC’s part. Great first experience for the primetime viewing public. I think this single event set MMA back along way.
