Sakuraba was my hero. But to be a legend you have to kill a legend. Sorry I had to beat him up.

Man, I hate how much punishment they let fighters take in Japan. That Sakuraba fight should have been stopped 6-10 strikes earlier.

DREAM.4 was baller.
I feel real bad for Galesic/Tin. That’s a really spooky situation…
Did anyone else feel like Aoki was kind of a dick to Nagata? It was almost like Aoki had been working on his reverse gogoplata from mount and wanted to try it out on someone just to show it off.

You don’t really know much about Aoki then man. Aoki trained his rubber guard with Eddie Bravo. What you saw from Aoki is the gogoplata from the gangsta lean straight from Eddie Bravo’s shit. It’s not like he just did it for the shits and giggles of it. Its obviously something he’s worked on and its actually pretty high percentage from the top. Especially when the guy on the bottom thinks you’re going to go for the same basic armbar etc…

I think Mayhem was robbed
by the 2 5 minute round format—given a third round I think he would’ve had a chance for his superior striking to come to bear. He did a great job to survive everything Jacare threw at him. Mayhem wins the rematch.

Don't know about that.
I like Mayhem just as much as the next monkey but he was defending most of the time. rather than attacking. Even when he was on top he knew he had to be careful against jacare. When Mayhem went to punch from on top Jacare was constantly moving avoiding the punch and going for sweep/submission. I think at the end of the fight Mayhems striking looked pretty good but i think it was a little to late for him to pull it out.

The injury that Taiei Kin takes is brutal. One of the most painful I’ve seen in a long time.

It sorta looked like Miller tried to jump out of the ring to aviod the takedown in the early part of round 2.
